According to Heraclitus a man cannot step in to the same river twice. It will no longer be the same river, nor the same man.
We are constantly influenced by our surroundings. This table is changeable and so are the people gathering around it. They will leave the table slightly changed, perhaps influenced by the meetings and conversations that occured.
